INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

It takes a lot of courage to reach out for support when you’re struggling, and I’m so thrilled you’ve taken this step to care for yourself. When we meet together, my hope is that you’ll feel safe, seen, heard, and held.

There are many great reasons to seek therapy. Maybe you’re looking for support and tools for the anxiety that keeps showing up, or you want to work through past or current trauma that keeps you feeling stuck. You might need a safe space to process grief or loss, or to explore a big life transition. Whatever you bring into the room, I’ll be waiting with empathy, warmth, and genuine care. I believe healing happens best when we’re not alone, so together we’ll move toward the lasting change you want to see.

 HOW IT WORKS

Free Consultation

It’s important to me that you find the best therapist for you and your needs. During your free 15-minute consultation call, you’ll have the opportunity to share about yourself and what drew you to counselling. You’re also welcome to ask questions about who I am as a therapist. This will help you decide whether or not I’m a good fit for you.

Initial Assessment

Once you decide to move forward with counselling, we’ll meet together in person or virtually for your first session. Here, I’ll give you lots of space to share your story, I’ll ask more questions to get to know you, and we’ll collaboratively begin to create a plan around how you can achieve your goals for therapy.

Ongoing Sessions

This is where the healing begins. Sessions will be tailored to your unique needs and goals, and we’ll spend our time together connecting, learning, growing, and feeling more at home with yourself.

CONNECTION IN COMMUNITY

I’m passionate about supporting women, and mamas in particular, because I know how beautiful and hard it is to mother children. I’ve experienced many highs and lows on my own parenting journey, and what has always held me in the painful moments is empathy, validation, and genuine care and love from my community.

I’m excited to partner with local organizations and businesses who aim to support mothers throughout their parenting journey. I offer workshops and talks focusing on mental health and wellness for moms, both in person and online. Please reach out here if you’d like to explore how this could look for your group. I can’t wait to partner with you!

Discovery Call

Once you reach out, we’ll connect by email or over the phone to discuss your hopes and wishes for your group and how I might be able to help. This could include psycho-educational talks, Q + A sessions, and group experiential exercises. Together, we’ll co-design the workshop or talk of your dreams!

Gather Together

This is where the magic happens. I’ll create an open-hearted, empathetic, and welcoming space for your group to get educated, empowered, and connected with themselves and one another in community.

Beyond the Workshop

Participants of the event are welcome to reach out for individual therapy services following our time together. Oftentimes, a group gathering can be a beautiful way to open the door to deeper, more personalized experiences with a therapist, and I’d be happy to offer this to your group members.

 

SERVICE FEES

Fees

Individual Therapy: $150 + GST/50-minute session

I take payment by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, or MC or Visa Debit). Payments are processed following your session, and an emailed receipt will be immediately available to you.

Extended Health Benefits

If you have extended health care benefits, please check with your provider that they cover Registered Clinical Counsellors (#12666). While I don’t direct bill to providers, I’ll email you a receipt after each session so you can submit it to your company for reimbursement. Keep in mind, you can also claim your sessions as a medical expense on your personal income taxes.
